Japanese sword with full battle-ready blade. Because of its beauty and functionality katana is still very popular and well known type of cold steel. The blades of original swords were traditionally hand down - father to son. Other parts of sword (e.g. handle, tsuba, saya) were replaced when needed or get damaged. To have a traditional katana means to know a specific rituals and special treatment that a sword needs.
The sword that we offer has a full battle-ready hammered and tempered blade, brass-made tsuba (and some other parts such as kojiri, fuchi, kashira) and black painted wooden scabbard (saya). To dismantle a sword requires professional tools.
